Caumsett State Park

Caumsett State Park is nestled between the woods and the water. This park is great for outdoor activities such as walking, running, or bike riding. Many people visit Caumsett all year round. There is a paved path for people to follow. If you like hiking, there are also trails to explore. People can even go horseback riding since there is a stable located within the park! Caumsett State Park is a historic landmark on Long Island. Many students take field trips to Caumsett to learn about marine life, vegetation, and survival skills. Personally, I adore spending time with my friends as we walk along the trail and soak in the beautiful scenery.

  1. What a nice idea for the vocabulary exercise! You also have a good choice of words.
I think my son's class went there for an overnight trip years ago.
